They are developing highly complex processes to scale up mammalian cell culture to revolutionise the biotech and food industry with the view to commercialise their technology over the next couple of years. Now a company over over 50 employee’s based in the heart of Paris, we are seeking a a highly experienced individual to lead their scale up from bench top through to tech transfer and commercialisation. 

In this role you will be overseeing the entire bioprocessing business unit, with ambitious plans to take on more responsibility as processes become more mature/established. 

Who would be suitable?

• impressive educational background in bioprocess engineering, biochemistry or other scientific disciplines related to process development 
• Extensive experience leading bioprocess development from lab to pre-commercial runs
• Expert in CMC and regulatory submissions for cell culture processes
• Background in managing large teams of up to 20

What will you be doing? 

• Optimise scale-up of processes to reduce time to market and ensure execution of activities
• Work effectively with all disciplines in the business from Research, development, quality, operations etc. 
• Effectively lead 20+ scientists and engineers
