Our company is the pioneer in bringing rapid protein expression and purification screen to the benchtop. We make proteins accessible through the eProtein Discovery™ System. Through our technology we accelerate breakthrough improvements in human health and empower life science researchers with easy access to target proteins.
 
Nuclera has recently implemented IFS as its ERP system. To reach our goal of having a high value add system fully integrated across the business, we are seeking to add an experienced IFS Technical Architect to the implementation team. The IFS Technical Architect will play a vital role during a critical time in this early phase of our ERP implementation. As such, they will have the opportunity to contribute to shaping processes and having a significant business impact. The role will be dynamic in nature, ranging from formulating requirements and the solutions to meet them to technical implementation and system maintenance.
 
About the role

  • Contribute to the delivery of IFS solutions aligned with business needs, from requirements gathering and technical architecture to development, testing and deployment
  • Collaborate with ERP Solution Architect to develop a prioritised backlog of change requests and solutions in IFS to meet business requirements
  • Review existing technical processes in IFS and propose improvements
  • Perform ‘business as usual’ tasks (maintenance and monitoring, data management, user support) alongside project work
  • Hold project delivery responsibilities by working to specific project plans and deadlines, escalating issues, risks and concerns in a timely manner.

 
Requirements
Essential:

  • BSc degree related to Computer Science or equivalent
  • 3+ years IFS Cloud experience and a strong technical knowledge of IFS Cloud and associated infrastructure
  • Data migration and integration experience (e.g. IFS Connect)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, particularly in expressing complex technical concepts effectively

 
Desirable:

  • Certifications in SQL, PL/SQL programming and Oracle Database will be advantageous
  • 5+ years IFS experience
  • Experience of working within a manufacturing organisation
  • Experience of working within a multinational business
