We are proud to be supporting this up-&-coming skincare start-up in their search for a new Production Engineer. As Production Engineer, you will work with Operations Management to support operational growth & improve operational efficiency. You will be developing cutting-edge technological equipment helping our customers to achieve their skin goals.
 
 
Role: Production Engineer

About the role
 

  • Work with Operations Management to maintain & improve production performance.
  • Respond & support on operational issues.
  • Improve operational efficiency from gathering & analysing data through to proposing & delivering improvements for example optimising equipment, changing layouts & building data dashboards.
  • Lead on problem solving to solution implementation e.g. identifying root cause of machine breakdowns, optimising machine settings to reduce waste & improving processes to control quality levels.
  • Support operational growth by delivering production technology including label printers, barcode scanners, screens, raspberry pi’s, CCTV.

 
Experiences
 

  • Experience in problem solving & implementing solutions in manufacturing environments with machines & people.
  • Strong communicator with the ability to present & persuade at various levels from operator to CEO.
  • A team player who enjoys helping others & thrives in a fast-paced & dynamic environment, where rapid change is the norm.
  • A strong owner who is positive, energetic & a self-starter who focuses on delivery to achieve results.
  • Strong Excel skills, detail oriented & technically minded with the ability to analyse any problem or situation.
  • SQL skills would be advantageous, or the motivation to learn to be able to self-serve & work independently to access the data you will need
