Salesforce Lead (Administrator/Developer)

Description
Nuclera is a venture-backed, founder-driven biotech company headquartered in Cambridge, UK with significant operations in Boston, USA. The company’s mission is to improve human health by making proteins accessible. We are beginning this mission through the launch of our eProtein Discovery platform. eProtein Discovery is a breakthrough protein expression, characterization and purification technology, consisting of a lab-based benchtop instrument, cloud-based software and proprietary cartridges and consumables. The goal is to enable rapid protein access to life science researchers around the world.

Nuclera is seeking a dynamic and adaptable Salesforce Administrator/Developer to join its fast-paced startup environment. This role is crucial in driving the company’s sales, marketing, and customer support operations through efficient management and optimization of the Salesforce ecosystem including associated accompanying technologies (Pandadocs, Outreach.io, make.com, IFS ERP). The ideal candidate should thrive in a rapidly changing environment and be prepared to take on diverse responsibilities across multiple departments.

We’re ideally looking for somebody who has skills and experience of working with a variety of digital tools and technology not just within the Salesforce ecosystem. We need somebody who can drive change and adoption of the technology, not just craft and configure the tooling.

Responsibilities
Salesforce Administration and Customization:

  • Manage and maintain the Salesforce instance, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Develop and customize Salesforce objects, Flows, approval processes, and reports according to business requirements.
  • Implement and maintain integrations with other systems and applications as needed.

Training and Adoption:

  • Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for Salesforce users across multiple functions.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, to understand their requirements and implement solutions within Salesforce.
  • Act as a subject matter expert and provide guidance on Salesforce best practices and process optimization.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Salesforce Administrator/Developer, with a strong understanding of Salesforce Sales Cloud (minimum 3 years). (SOM/OMS & B2B Commerce experience beneficial)
  • Proficient in Salesforce configuration, customization, and development, we prefer implementations with clicks not code so configuring in Flow preferable to custom Apex Development.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce integrations, APIs, and third-party applications (e.g., PandaDoc, Make.com, Marketo, IFS ERP) is a plus.
  • Strong interest in learning and mastering software tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Excellent communication and training skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Adaptable and flexible, with a willingness to take on diverse responsibilities in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology) or equivalent experience.
