Nuclera is seeking a motivated and high energy product manager to manage a new and exciting product in the market. In this role, you will be contributing to our customer success by delivering solutions that will accelerate drug discovery projects. The ideal candidate will drive growth in the product portfolio through investigating market opportunities and new applications. Being at an innovative company that combines microfluidic technology with life science, you will be working with cutting edge technology to make a difference in today’s life science industry. About the role:

  • Represent the customer and commercial perspective in product development involving instrumentation, digital microfluidics, software, and reagents.
  • Guide instrument and cloud software development to deliver a first-class user experience.
  • Champion product development through primary (VOC) and secondary market research, defining customer needs and financial justification.
  • Develop new product business plans and user requirements.
  • Keep up to date with competitive development in the field and provide periodic updates to internal stakeholders.
  • Define value proposition and messaging and generate scientific content for marketing materials and sales tools.
  • Strategic engagement with KOLs, collaborators and partners to explore new applications and use-cases.
  • Operate in an iterative environment and continuously review business goals, refine priorities, outline deliverables.

Requirements 
Essential:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in Product Management.
  • PhD in a Life Science discipline or BSc/MSc with equivalent experience.
  • Must have protein expression and purification experience.
  • Demonstrated success in driving new products from conception to launch.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to translate complex scientific concepts and engage a wide. audience with a variety of backgrounds.

 
Desirable:

  • Protein science experience in pharma and biopharma a plus.
  • Experience managing scientific software (either complementing instrumentation or as a standalone product) is highly valuable.
