Want to be part of a Medical Device start-up team transforming the cost & availability of medical imaging devices? We are looking for a Systems Engineering Manager to join a revolutionary medical imaging start-up as they release new products to market. 
 
We’re in search of a seasoned Systems Engineer / Systems Engineering Manager to spearhead the delivery of system requirements for our cutting-edge Medical Imaging Devices. Your tasks will encompass overseeing change management, validation and verification, systems engineering guidance and adherence to our Quality Management System standards.
 
The ideal candidate would be an experienced systems engineer / manager who has experience working on hardware heavy devices. Any experience with optics, medical devices or software is a bonus.
 
Role: Systems Engineering Manager
Location: West Oxford
Salary: DOE / Competitive + benefits
 
Responsibilities: 

  • Providing strategic systems leadership to interdisciplinary engineering teams
  • Managing day-to-day operations of direct reports, including work planning and performance management
  • Overseeing systems engineering activities in compliance with industry standards
  • Collaborating with Quality department on regulatory documentation
  • Developing and supporting technical reports, requirements, and test specifications
  • Spearheading product security initiatives and advising on standards.
  • Ensuring compliance with INCOSE and other relevant standards
  • Managing requirements for product lifecycle management software tools
  • Sharing knowledge across departments and leading project tasks
  • Planning future product development aligned with company objectives.
  • Assisting in prototype development and transitioning to production

 
Skills & Experiences:

  • Proficiency in writing clear, testable requirements.
  • Strong systems knowledge (hardware, optical or medical devices) to enhance engineering processes.
  • Expertise in requirements and test management tools
  • Understanding of integrated hardware and software systems
  • Experience in verification and validation testing.
  • Proven track record in meeting project deadlines
  • Project management experience in hardware and software development
