(Senior) Quantum Electronics Engineer - Germany
We are seeking a Senior Electronics Engineer to help build the next generation of advanced computing
systems based on emerging quantum technologies. You’ll work closely with interdisciplinary teams -
spanning quantum physics, software, and mechanical engineering - to design, develop, and integrate
electronic modules that sit at the core of a complex, high performance technology stack.
What You’ll Do
• Own Electronics Modules: Lead the design and delivery of critical electronic subsystems that
contribute to the platform’s overall functionality and performance.
• System Integration: Ensure seamless integration of your modules into the broader system
architecture, with a focus on optimisation and reliability.
• Project Rotation: After successful deployment, take on new challenges across different
components of the system.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work hands-on with experts from adjacent domains to refine,
implement, and iterate on system-level solutions.
• Technical Depth: Stay up to date with the platform's evolving physics requirements and adapt
your designs to match.
What You’ll Bring
• Degree (BSc or higher) in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience designing and delivering hardware in a complex system
environment.
• Demonstrated expertise in at least three of the following domains (Analog & RF Most Important) :
▪ Analog electronics and low-noise design
▪ RF electronics
▪ Digital systems
▪ Power electronics and supply systems
• Ability to independently specify technical systems and communicate with diverse stakeholders.
• Proven track record mentoring and guiding junior engineers or team members.
Technical Focus Areas (Examples)
Analog electronics:
• Low-noise, low-distortion amplifier circuits
• Feedback and control systems (e.g., loop filters)
• RF components such as mixers and amplifiers
• Precision voltage references
