CT19 have partnered with a sustainability-focussed Biotech company is Paris, aiming to decarbonize the entire textile industry. They’re seeking an R&D Project Manager to own the delivery of production objectives for industry leading brands in the fashion & automotive industries.
To date, our client has signed contracts with brands such as ETAM & Victoria’s Secret to deliver recycled nylon 6 & 6.6 made from textile waste. You will own the delivery timeline of these projects, managing a team of technicians & co-ordinating with external partners.

The role:
- Organising, driving and optimising the different work streams & resource allocations to ensure production objectives are met. This includes owning daily, weekly & monthly meetings with all production stakeholders to prioritise the different tasks, estimate delivery time & facilitate communication within the teams.
- Manage a team of technicians & textile engineers, as well as coordinating external partners to ensure seamless delivery.
- Be responsible for the quality control of the production output across monomer, pellet & yarn output ensuring the successful delivery of commercial obligations to customers. This includes mapping out ways to improve the quality of output & building strategic relationships with industrial nylon producers
- Developing processes & benchmarks to analyse data & results coming out of different work streams. You will identify key metrics & assess the performance of the Production team & work on how to improve these metrics.
About you:
- 4+ years of experience as an R&D Project Manager, R&D Engineer or Quality Control Manager in textile or chemical industries
- Master Engineering (either Materials, Polymer or Textile engineering)
- Experience in projects with 10+ people
- Strong knowledge of project management tools & processes
- High level of organisation & autonomy
- Experience in a start-up or fast-moving company
- Impeccable oral & written English
- Proactive, action-oriented & hands on mindset
