Senior RF/Analog Design Engineer

Location: Paris + Europe (Remote)

Salary: Highly Competitive/ Top of Market

Join an innovative technology company focused on advancing AI and semiconductor hardware. Established recently by a team of experts in photonics, electronics, software, mathematics, and machine learning, the company brings together a diverse group of engineers and scientists from top global organizations and research institutions. Operating across multiple international hubs, the company values scientific rigor, fast-paced development, and a collaborative culture.

Role Overview

  • Design and develop high-performance analog and RF integrated circuits (ICs) optimized for precision, power efficiency, and compactness, supporting product development from initial architecture through silicon validation.
  • Create and simulate analog and RF circuit blocks such as amplifiers, mixers, PLLs, ADCs, DACs, and bias/reference circuits, with a focus on signal integrity and linearity.
  • Optimize designs for power, area, and performance, ensuring robustness across process, voltage, and temperature variations.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including optics, simulation, and PCB design to define specifications and ensure alignment with system-level goals.
  • Provide guidance to layout engineers on floor-planning and physical design to minimize parasitic effects and preserve analog performance.
  • Support post-silicon validation activities, including test plan development, measurement analysis, and correlation with simulations to refine future designs.

Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in analog electronics, including voltage-to-current and current-to-voltage conversion across low and high frequencies.
  • Experience designing high-precision analog systems for signal processing or power electronics; familiarity with high-frequency analog signals is advantageous.
  • Proficient in IC design and post-layout methodologies using industry-standard EDA tools (e.g., Cadence Virtuoso).
  • Skilled in mixed-signal circuit design, including DACs and ADCs operating from kHz to GHz frequencies, and signal conditioning circuits for integration with digital processors.
  • Deep understanding of signal integrity, noise reduction, and crosstalk mitigation in mixed-signal, high-frequency RF environments.
  • Experience working with advanced semiconductor process nodes (<28nm).

Compensation and Benefits

  • Competitive salary, commensurate with experience and location.
  • Early-stage stock option plan participation.
  • Relocation assistance for candidates moving near company hubs.
  • Comprehensive healthcare coverage, pension contributions, professional development support, and paid time off.
  • Ownership of a critical technical domain with opportunities for career advancement.
  • A fast-paced, diverse, and engineering-driven work environment
