• Ability to work as part of a team and independently, on concurrent work streams; activities are followed
through to completion; meets deadlines and ensures people get what they need when they need it
• Displays enthusiasm and creativity in meeting the needs and expectations of internal customers and
encourages this behaviour in colleagues
• Provides internal customers with the complete data they need, on or before the agreed deadline, and is
acutely aware of how their actions impact directly upon different customers
• Quick to reprioritise and adapt pace of work around changing customer demands and requests,
regularly communicating updates to Line Manager and minimising time spent on unnecessary activities
• Takes accountability for sorting things out and problem solving
• Develops a way of working that suits the needs of the individual customer and focussed around doing
things properly ensure high standards of quality and safety are delivered
• Highly visible and approachable, easy to talk to and keen to speak with colleagues about what they are
working on, listening carefully

• Minimum of 2 years recent and relevant industrial experience in procurement
• Experience in negotiations
• Experience in contract management
• Experience using MRP/ERP systems
• Experience of supporting negotiations
• Demonstrated experience of project support.
• Can give examples of personal creativity, innovation and problem solving
• Driven, focused, impatient for success: experience designing and analysing.
