The R&D Project Manager will be responsible for establishing GV Health’s R&D function. It will be your responsibility to lead on the development of our own products and work with the wider business to launch these to market.

·        Overseeing development of existing and new product ranges.

·        Focus on pipeline drive and delivery at all project stage gates.

·        Conduct product development activities for pipeline projects which may include aspects of operations and manufacturing.

·        Coordinate research initiatives with external partners.

·        Coordinate microbiology testing and validation reports with external partners.

·        Ensure that up-to-date and accurate scientific project records are maintained.

·        Liaise and collaborate with external partners and suppliers in the UK and abroad. Working closely across our supply chain teams.

·        Managing and ensuring product technical file library is up to date.

·        Providing product technical training internally.

·        Liaising closely with marketing team to help provide technical and study-based content.


This is an opportunity to genuinely shape a new function within the business, we are looking for someone to take a lead on all project related activities in this area.


·        Background or experience in Microbiology or Biochemistry.

·        Product development experience of cosmetics, medical devices or biocidal products.

·        Knowledge and experience of relevant regulations and standards relating to microbiology testing and efficacy of medical devices, biocides and cosmetics.

·        Working as part of multi-functional teams to deliver on milestones on time and to budget.

·        Motivated individual with experience of working with multiple stakeholders, both internal and external.
